Jeff Bailey
Jeff Bailey has been a contracted member of The Nashville Symphony since 1983. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from George Peabody College at Vanderbilt University in 1981; his teachers include William Adam, Karl Zimmerman, Patrick McGuffey and Lou Ranger.
Jeff has been a featured soloist with the Nashville Chamber Orchestra, and was a member of the Nashville Contemporary Brass Quintet for 9 years. He is adjunct assistant professor of trumpet at the Blair School of Music/Vanderbilt University and a member of the Blair Brass Quintet.
Jeff frequently performs with the Chris McDonald Orchestra, the Nashville Jazz Machine, and he is an active studio and freelance musician. Jeff has played on over 7500 recording sessions. Some of his record credits include Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Peter Cetera, Matchbox 20, Point of Grace, Billy Gilman, Shelby Lynne, Garth Brooks and the Neville Brothers.

Whether or not you have heard of him by name, you have heard Steve Patrick. Steve is the first call trumpet player in Nashville, Tennessee and has played on over 5700 recording sessions. His work on multi-platinum records, video games, movies, tv shows and live performances is exhaustive.
His trumpet playing can be heard on the albums of Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney, Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood, Michael McDonald, Lady Antebellum, Elton John, Amy Grant, Michael W Smith, TobyMac, Chris Tomlinson, Colbie Caillat and Brian Setzer just to name a few.
In the video game scoring world, here are just a few of the game scores he has played on: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Star Wars: Knights of the Eternal Throne, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Call of Duty: Black Ops IV, Call of Duty: WWII, Rise of the Tomb Rider, Anthem and Fortnite.

Jeff is a Dove nominated composer/orchestrator/arranger/trumpet player creating music for film, video games, television and live events.
Jeff has served as an orchestrator on feature films, video games and tv shows such as Madden, Call of Duty, Anthem, Playmobil:The Movie, Show Dogs, Emerald City and My Little Pony.
As a trumpet player, Jeff has performed live or recorded for Danny Gokey, Unspoken, Building 429, Matthew West, Keith and Kristyn Getty, the African’s Children’s Choir, Tim Akers & The Smoking Section, Jody Davis (Newsboys), Anthony Evans, TRUTH and Jody Benson (Disney’s Little Mermaid).
Jeff composed/scored ‘Four Blood Moons’ produced by Rick Eldridge (Bobby Jones:Stroke of Genius and The Ultimate Gift, The Ultimate Life and the Ultimate Legacy) and directed by Academy Award winning director Kieth Merrill.
Jeff arranged strings and horns for Kris Kristofferson’s cover of Tom Petty’s ‘I Won’t Back Down’ for The Texas Rising Soundtrack.
Jeff arranged ‘God Bless the USA’ for The University of Mobile’s RamCorps to perform with Lee Greenwood on the Duck Commander (Duck Dynasty) Cruise in the Fall of 2015.
He also created 150 of the arrangements and orchestrations for the Lifeway Worship Project as well as serving as lead orchestrator for Word Music’s More Songs for Worship – Digital.
As a composer, Jeff has worked on more than 45 videos, movies and short films.
He has arranged/orchestrated over 550 songs for recordings, print and live performances.
