Modern Worship – Volume 1

6 instrumental arrangements of modern worship songs arranged for Horns AND Rhythm Section

Arranged by Jeff D Anderson

This is the ULTIMATE FLEXIBLE ARRANGEMENT!

Marching Band, Drumline, Horn Section, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Orchestra or ANY COMBINATION OF THESE GROUPS!!!!

The recording of this arrangement (listen below or on our YouTube Channel) features horn section (2 trumpets, 2 trombones and 2 saxes), rhythm section and marching band!

This arrangement was recorded with the core horn section and rhythm section AND THEN with marching band and drumline over top. This is a great way to invite a local marching band/drumline to be a part of a worship service or concert. This would be a POWERFUL opening to any service. Noted drumline arranger, Tim Paul wrote and recorded all of the drumline parts and they are all included. This arrangement works as a horns and rhythm only arrangement (the drummer will just do the drumline breaks as drum solos). BUT if you can add a drumline (and ANY marching band players) this will be a moment folks will never forget.

This arrangement also will work for a marching band or a concert band (with optional full strings).

Additional parts are written for Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet 3, Baritone, Trombone 3, Tuba, full String Section and drumline.

To add ultimate flexibility, I have created a big band version of this arrangement that I have included when you order. The big band version is for:5 saxes, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones and rhythm section (written out piano and bass plus rhythm chart). AND you can add the drumline parts ON TOP of the big band! If you don’t have access to a drumline, then you get to say the phrase your drummer has waited years for “Drum Solo”.

This arrangement is an INSTRUMENTAL FEATURE perfect for pre/post service, offertory and concerts.

This is a perfect openers for services as an instrumental BUT I wanted to also provide a congregational version so you could also feature the horn section during worship. SO I am now including a congregational version of each arrangement in the series for no additional charge. So you could open the service with an instrumental feature and then use that same song/feel/groove for congregational worship. I have provided a worship leader lead sheet and the arrangements have been adapted to work as congregational accompaniments. I am also providing the Finale files in case you want to change keys or adapt the arrangements for your situation. So when you purchase the instrumental version of this arrangement, you will ALSO receive the congregational version.

Written out piano parts and electric bass parts along with chord charts are included.

4 different String Synth parts to support any size string group are included.

When you place your order, the pdf sheet music is available for immediate download on our website

For ultimate flexibility, I am including all the different versions in this one product.

Here’s what’s included:

Horn Section version – 2 trumpets, 2 trombones, alto sax, tenor sax, optional bari sax and rhythm section

Marching Band – These parts can be played ON TOP of the horn section version (like the recording below) OR you can play them on their own

Big Band – 5/4/4 horns plus rhythm section. You can add the drumline (and marching band parts) to this arrangement for a massive performance

Drumline – From well known drumline arranger, Tim Paul, these parts can (and should) be added to ANY ensemble (horn section, marching band, concert band, orchestra).

Additional parts for full string section so you could even perform this arrangement with an orchestra (or concert/symphonic band)

ALL parts have the same road map so you can literally pick and choose parts to make sure your ensemble can use as many players as possible.
