08 The Solid Rock (string ensemble)

This beloved hymn is arranged for string quintet or string ensemble.

I don’t know why, but for some reason, the “Titanic” string section comes to mind when I hear this arrangement. This arrangement was designed with a classic string quintet in mind.

This arrangement would serve well as a prelude or opening to a church service. It also is PERFECT music for a church wedding with a string quintet

The demonstration recording was with a string quartet, but this arrangement is for string quintet/ensemble.

Instrumentation: Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola, Cello, Bass, 2 Stave Percussion, Timpani and multiple string synth parts.

The 4 String Synth Parts included are:

Violin 2/Viola, Viola/Cello, Cello/Bass and Viola/Bass
