I have just finished up composing the score to a brand new feature movie that releases in the theaters March 23rd, 2015 called ‘Four Blood Moons’. Based on the book by New York Times best-selling author, Pastor John Hagee, this movie was produced by Rick Eldridge (Bobby Jones:Stroke of Genius, The Ultimate Gift and The Ultimate Life). It was directed by Academy Award winning director, Kieth Merrill.
It weaves gracefully between science, history and Scripture in correlating the Four Blood Moons that have happened in history and God’s chosen people, the Jews. With great reverence to the Jewish people, the flashbacks in time, beautifully directed by Kieth Merrill, are shot masterfully with an epic flair.
I say this often, but I say it because it is always true…I am honored and grateful for the privilege to add my voice to this encouraging and spiritually challenging docu-drama.
It does not go unnoticed that after 45 videos, shorts, movie clips and audio books, that my first feature film that is playing in over 700 theaters on March 23rd, was produced by Rick Eldridge who has worked with James Horner, John Debney, Hans Zimmer and even ‘The Maestro’ on a Disney project back a good number of years ago. Along with that, an Academy Award winning director (won for documentary) is the director of this docu-drama.
The door was opened, and I was grateful to step through and offer my voice to their film.
Seeing your name in the credits (and on the poster), it is a surreal feeling. Surreal, but nice.
