A throwback to the ballads of the late 70s/early80s, this is a simple, relaxed arrangement of Fairest Lord Jesus.

This arrangement is simple to play but builds powerfully to the last chorus. If you’re looking for an opportunity for your sax player to shine, this is it! (Don’t worry, we’ve written out a solo for him/her to play).

My good friend, David Shipps (@theFinaleGuru) orchestrated this one and did a GREAT job!

INSTRUMENTATION:2 trumpets, 2 trombones, 2 saxes and rhythm

ADDITIONAL INSTRUMENTATION:Flute 1 & 2, Oboe, Clarinet 1 & 2, Violin 1 & 2, Viola, Cello and Bass

A  written out piano part and bass part are provided. Some tutorial videos for your drummer are available on our YouTube channel. We also have written out suggested solos for any of the ad lib solo sections in case your players can’t improvise.
